Nighttime Landscape Photography
Landscape photography can be categorized as Milky Way photography, Star Trails compositions, wide-field, or lunar photography. All of these are considered different forms of astrophotography.
We tend to focus on deep-sky imaging, but we occasionally do this type of nighttime photography when we have time or find an interesting foreground.
The image to the right was taken at a location not far from the light-polluted city of Las Vegas. The rock formation is called Elephant Rock.
