The Nomad Workshop is a private workshop where we come to your area to teach you astrophotography. This option is available to the following states: Utah, California, and Arizona. We are open to traveling anywhere within the continental U.S. - see Workshop Pricing & Quote for more information.
We will travel to your area to teach you how to use your setup or achieve a specific goal. The effort in planning, time, and travel means this is a 3-day workshop. Be prepared for two back-to-back evenings out on the field. The last day, however, may be held online and/or at another date, if requested.
The itinerary for the Nomad Workshop:
- Day 1 & 2 - both evenings (sunset to dawn), rest during the day
- Day 3 - teach you how to process your photos
We will coach you on the spot about your overall goal. Please be sure to communicate your goal so we can develop lessons for you during the workshop.
Transportation, food, and lodging will be calculated and added to the final workshop quote. A $400 deposit is required to schedule a workshop and begin discussions and preparations for your private workshop. Please note: the deposit is not the price of the workshop.

The Nomad Workshop is an uncommon service because the instructor travels to you. Due to its unique nature, it will take significant planning on our end and a huge commitment from you. Serious inquiries only.
Considering the preparation and effort of finding lodgings, gas/flights, and food, the Nomad Workshop roughly starts $1,800+ and will likely increase as we secure travel plans. We can provide an accurate quote once schedules and location have been solidified.
