Private Workshop
Astrophotography is a visually stunning way of exploring the vast reaches of space. If you have dreamed of taking photos of the Milky Way, nebulae, or galaxies and don't know where to begin, consider a private in-person workshop in Las Vegas with experienced astrophotographers, Antoine and Dalia.
We have nearly a decade of experience in all types of astrophotography and can teach you how to take extraordinary photos of space. With basic equipment, you would be surprised to see what you can capture with your very own camera!
What to Expect
The gallery above shows examples of the types of objects we can capture in an imaging session!
A private astrophotography workshop is made of two sessions.
The first session is a physical meet-up to teach you the skills needed to meet your goal and follow through in practice, and the second session is how to process what you captured.
In-Person Session
We will meet in person at a designated location outside of Las Vegas. The session begins at sunset and ends at sunrise, but you have complete freedom as to when you'd like to pack up and go to bed.
During your private session, we will coach you on how to set up and use your equipment, and how to capture your chosen target with tips to obtain the best possible results.
A few things to note:

You must bring your personal equipment, but we offer loaner gear (click Book Now for more information)

We can rent our gear to you if needed

Transportation, food, and lodging are not included in the private workshop

Stella, our dog, usually joins us - please let us know if that is not preferred
Processing Session
The second part of the workshop is about processing the data that we collected in the in-person session. This can be scheduled for the following day or at a later time virtually.
Based on the data you collected, we will walk you through how to process it using the right software. We can recommend what to put onto your computer ahead of time so that you are prepared for the second session.
A few things to note:

You need special software to stack/process your photos (free trials available)

If this session is at a later date virtually, we will setup a Zoom meeting when you are available

The processing session will last 1-3 hours

Schedule a Private Workshop
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions. We often meet with folks who come to Las Vegas due to business (conferences/conventions) or leisure and are wary of accommodating prior engagements.
We are open to traveling to other states to meet with you and hold a private workshop. However, due to the additional cost of travel and accommodations, it is not the same price as a private workshop - please see our Nomad Workshops product page for more information.
