This photo is of the most popular area of the sky, the Orion Region! If it looks a little different, that's because this iconic image was processed with a unique color palette.
Take a closer look at the rich colors! Can you spot the famous Orion Nebula the Horsehead and Flame Nebulae? The dominant blues bring a cold feeling to the overall image and compliment the vibrant orange aura of the Orion Nebula.
We spent a total of 30 hours imaging this patch of sky from our backyard, which allowed us to take in an insane amount of faint gas all over the image.
